The peak season is November to June. April to June offers the best tiger sightings as water sources dry up and animals congregate near rivers and water holes. Avoid July–October (monsoon) when the park is partially closed.
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance during peak season (Dec–Mar) as permits are limited per zone per day. For weekends and holidays, 4–6 weeks ahead is ideal.
